Infant Seth Michael Poplin-Meade, son of Jeremy Meade and Katrina Poplin of Ashland, was born into the hands of the Lord, Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Surviving include paternal grandparents, Michael and Adrianne Meade of Ashland, KY and maternal grandparents, Michael and Melissa Poplin of Ashland, KY. Vicki Louise Huff Whitt

1953 - 2010

Vicki Louise Huff Whitt, 56, of Greenup, KY, wife of James Whitt, died Saturday afternoon, March 7, 2010 at Kings Daughters Medical Center following an extended illness. Vicki was born June 24, 1953 at Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Edgar and Margaret Brewer Huff. She was a member of the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Getaway, Ohio and loved spending time with her family, and being a grandmother. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by 2 brothers, Rick and Ralph Huff. Surviving in addition to her husband, and fishing partner, include 2 sons, Shannon Picklesimer of Flatwoods, KY, and Josh Picklesimer of Salyersville, KY. 2 daughters, Kimberly Basham of Paintsville, KY, and Tonya Russell of Salyersville, KY. A brother, Mike Huff of Getaway, Ohio, and a sister Jo Ann Branham of Ashland, KY. Stepbrothers Virgil and Danny, and stepsisters Margaret, Christine, and Gail. 9 grandchildren, Lanaya, Breanna, Emma Grace, Megan, Shelbi, Ethan, Madison, Lexie, and Lane. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME by Bro. Leroy Dixon. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery, Westwood, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 PM.
